He has more than 40 years in refining and marketing, with extensive refinery commissioning, startup, trading, engineering and operating experience.

He is founder and chief executive of TexSyn Energy, which processed approximately 80,000 barrels per day of specialty crude oils with a 223-person team.

His historical project experience includes work involving Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Phillips 66, Pemex, Tesoro and ARCO, across crude trading, refinery operations, pipelines, gas processing and NYMEX hedging.
